The Camera Test

If you didn't already know I'm a bit of a documentary fiend, stories revolving around culture and people are my jam. Having recently upgraded my camera it has allowed me to finally open the doors to documentary film making, something I've always been interested in.

This "camera test" was the product of learning the physicality of working with the camera in a real world sense. Coming from the world of virtual film-making which allows for precise control to the unpredictability of "run and gun" film-making has been a eye opening and rewarding challenge.

Thanks again to My Bar for letting me shoot this video. If you haven't, I highly recommend My Bar if you are in Auckland and looking for a cozy and quiet place to have a few drinks. The cocktails are amazing and I can attest to the great craft beer rotation. And hey, you might even see me there on the weekend (come say hi if you do, I promise I wont bite).
